JEFFREY JI: Jeff has been with U-Combination Technology since 1993 as President. His areas of expertise include K-12 education consulting, information management, marketing, and hospitality technology.Â

Jeff is also a partner at Knighthawk Tours, LLC, an affiliate of U-Combination Technology. Knighthawk Tours organized the Ride to Confucius, the first Harley-Davidson sponsored motorcycle tour in China in 2008. www.knighthawktours.com.Â

Jeffrey teaches Sales Organization and Professional Sales at Drexel Univeristy. He has graduate degrees from University of Pennsylvania and American University.Â
MICHELLE KUO: UCOM's VP of Finance is an experienced CPA licensed in Pennsylvania. She is also the first American CPA licensed in China. She has engineer certificates from EMC and Wavesoft (Point of Sales Software). Michelle's long list of credentials includes an MBA degree from Drexel University and an MA degree in arts management from American University. At work Michelle loves numbers and in spare time she is involved with the performing arts.
GORMAN YANG: As Chief Technology Officer, Gorman has been with U-Combination Technology since May 2004. He leads our technical team in providing outstanding service to our Schools, Businesses, and Restaurants. His experience is deep in server administration, network design, and point of sales systems. Gorman is proud to hold his M.S. and B.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Tatung Institute of Technology in Taiwan.
LELIAN TAN: Lelian comes to UCOM from Singapore where she served as a Marketing Representative for EMC Singapore. Since joining UCOM, she quickly earned her EMC Sales Engineer status and is working towards expanding her knowledge of all our products and services.
HATTIE FANG: Hattie has been working with UCOM as a Network Engineer since June 2006. She has Microsoft MCSE and Cisco CCNA certificates.
Hattie got her Master in MIS degree from Temple University in 2006.
She has more than 5 years of experience in network support.
LILY LIANG: Lily joins UCOM as our Public Relations Officer and handles all aspects of communications. She also takes charge of external communications at Confucius K-12 (our educational program). Lily was a graduate of Texas A&M University, Fort Hays State University and People's University of China. In China, she worked as a reporter and editor. At Fort Hays State University, she was the Cultural Coordinator and at Texas A&M University, she serves as the Communications Specialist at the Public Relations Office. Her expertise includes writing and public relations promotions.
SERENA WANG:
Dr. Wang is the Director of Education at UCOM, with the responsibility for designing curriculum, delivering instruction, and building up the Confucius K-12 long distance education program to serve K-12 schools. She received her doctoral degree from the University of Texas at Austin, majoring in Education Psychology. Dr. Wang is a U.S. certified teacher. Prior to joining UCOM, she worked in an urban school district in Texas as a high school Chinese and Math teacher for two years. She also taught Mandarin Chinese to children of immigration families in a heritage Chinese school. In addition, she spent three years teaching fifth and sixth-grade Chinese Language Arts, Mathematics, and Social Studies in Taiwan. She enjoys reading and writing, cooking Asian cuisines, and spending quality time with friends for her pastime.
ROBERT LARGE: Robert is our newest addition to the UCOM family. Warmly known as Bob, he joins UCOM as a Systems Engineer. Bob has been in the IT field for more than 15 years as Senior Field and Support Engineer. Despite the vast amount of experience he has, he continues to improve on his skills by doing self learning. He received his A+ certification back in 2009 and is now working on getting his Network+ Certification. |
